Agartala: September 28. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha will inaugurate around 6 projects in Agartala city on September 30, said Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder today.
Mayor said this after inspecting the multi-level and multi-storied building with a parking zone that will be constructed in motor stand area.
After inspecting everything today, Mayor said, “Around 6 projects will be inaugurated by chief minister Dr. Manik Saha on September 30. On that day, a newly equipped pond will be inaugurated in Shantipara area. At the same time foundation stone will be laid for construction of multi level parking zone in motor stand area”.
Later AMC Mayor visited in around Maharajganja Bazar and after visiting the area today, Mayor said, “Several plans have been taken to ensure that Agartala Municipal Corporation is free from traffic jams on the day of Puja. There are some problems in Maharajganj market and has visited today to resolve the issues. A decision will be taken after Kali Puja. Some people doing illegal business in Maharajganj market and they will be evicted by the corporation after Kali Puja. Also, several shopkeepers closed their shops”.
He also said that there are also drug trade going on in the market and actions against them will be initiated soon.
