Agartala, 25th November 2025: Kadamtala witnessed a vibrant celebration today as the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was commemorated with a grand Unity March organized by My Bharat in North Tripura district.
The rally commenced at 2:30 p.m. from Kadamtala Higher Secondary School and made its way through the bustling Kadamtala market before culminating at Chandrakala Town Hall. Hundreds of students from various schools enthusiastically joined the procession, which was supported by the Kadamtala Panchayat Samiti authorities.
At Chandrakala Town Hall, the rally concluded with a discussion session. Distinguished guests included Kadamtala Panchayat Samiti Chairman Mihir Ranjan Nath, District Council member Mamoni Roy, Panchayat Samiti members Anjana Chakraborty and Hasim Talukdar, as well as national award recipient Niranjan Nath Anjan Bardhan, among others.
Speakers at the session reflected on the life and contributions of Sardar Patel, highlighting his pivotal role in India’s unity and nation-building. The day’s program concluded with a cultural performance, adding a festive touch to the historic commemoration.
