Agartala, May 24, 2023: The Council of Tiprasa Hoda on Tuesday criticized chief minister Prof Dr Manik Saha for asking BJP workers not to call Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarman a ‘Maharaja’.

On Monday last, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha appeared in the executive meeting and asked the party workers regarding Tipra Motha Supremo Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, so that he should not be called Maharaja.

In view of this, the Council of Tiprasa Huda held a press conference at the party office in Krishnanagar on Wednesday and informed that it is unfair not to call Maharaja a ‘Maharaja’ because the ancestors of Pradyot Kishore Dev varman have been living in this state since Rajnya period.

That is, Tripura was once the birthplace of the Maharaja. Therefore, the non-political organization is demanding that the Chief Minister should not make such comments and still Pradyut Kishore Devavarman is officiating for the Maharaja.

It is not right to spread hatred like this. They said that such comments of the Chief Minister are very sad. He also said that the Chief Minister should not do such unilateral work without developing the state.
