COVID-19: 288 people infected and 409 recovered in last 24 hours

Agartala, July 29, 2022: Tripura recorded 288 positive cases of COVID-19 with a positivity rate of 8.33 percent in the last 24 hours while 409 persons recovered. The state Health department on Friday released a Media Bulletin and it revealed that a total of 3,459 samples comprising 3,428 RATs and 31 RTPCRs were tested.

Among these tested samples, a total of 288 positive cases were recorded comprising 281 of RATs and 7 of RTPCRs. However, 409 patients recovered in last 24 hours. Out of 288 positive cases, 56 of them are from West Tripura district, 05 in Sepahijala district, 60 in Gomati district, 24 in Dhalai district, 25 in North Tripura district, 26 in Unakoti district and 75 in South Tripura district and 17 in Khowai district, the bulletin added.

Till now, altogether 25,41,414 samples were tested and 1,06,077 people were found positive across the state while 926 persons passed away and patients recovered are 1,03,097.
