COVID-19 cases spike: 260 people infected in last 24 hours

Agartala, July 13, 2022: Tripura recorded 260 positive cases of COVID-19 with a positivity rate of 10.92 percent in the last 24 hours while 38 persons recovered. The state Health department on Saturday released a Media Bulletin and it revealed that a total of 2,380 samples comprising 2240 RATs and 140 RTPCRs were tested.

Among these tested samples, a total of 260 positive cases were recorded comprising 232 of RATs and 28 of RTPCRs. However, 38 patients recovered in last 24 hours. Out of 260 positive cases, 139 of them are from West Tripura district, followed by 26 in Sepahijala district, 26 in Gomati district, nine in Dhalai district, twelve in North Tripura district, five in Unakoti district and 33 in South Tripura district and 10 in Khowai district, the bulletin added.

Till now, altogether 25,03,048 samples were tested and 1,02,035 people were found positive across the state while 920 persons passed away and patients recovered are 1,00,016.
