Agartala, 21st January 2025: In anticipation of the 24th state conference of the CPIM Tripura State Committee, a voluntary blood donation camp was held today at Bhanu Ghosh Smriti Bhavan on the fair grounds. The event was organized by the CPIM Sadar sub-divisional committee and attended by Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Jitendra Chowdhury and former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.
CPIM workers and supporters enthusiastically donated blood at the camp. Speaking to reporters here, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar described the CPIM state conference as a political organizational festival. “What else can be done in the future for the good of the people will be discussed in this festival,” he said. Speaking on the topic of blood donation, he added, “Blood donation is not a new issue. CPIM has been organizing blood donation camps for a long time. The enthusiasm among blood donors is increasing day by day. This is a good thing.”
