Agartala, 24th December 2024: Senior CPI(M) leader Prakash Karat is set to inaugurate the party’s 24th Tripura State Conference on December 29 in Agartala.
The three-day event will take place at the Town Hall in Agartala, concluding on December 31.
CPI(M) Politburo member Brinda Karat will also attend the conference, joining Prakash Karat in addressing a public rally at Vivekananda Ground. Both leaders, along with other senior party members, are expected to engage directly with the public during the rally.
CPI(M) Tripura secretary Jitendra Chowdhury said that the party has successfully concluded its internal conferences at the local, divisional, and district levels in preparation for the state conference.
The party boasts a robust organizational structure in the state, including over 4,000 branch committees, more than 300 local committees, 24 divisional committees, and eight district committees.
The conference will delve into the political, social, and economic challenges confronting Tripura. Discussions will focus on addressing public issues and outlining the party’s strategic roadmap.
