Agartala, 21st September 2025 : An 18-year-old cyclist sustained serious injuries after being struck by a goods-laden vehicle near the plastic factory adjacent to the Jangalia Electricity Office at Bishalgarh. The incident took place on the intervening nights of yesterday and today.
Local residents rushed to the scene upon hearing a loud crash and found the cyclist lying on the road in a pool of blood. Emergency services were immediately alerted, and personnel from the Bishalgarh Fire Department arrived promptly to rescue the injured youth.
The victim has been identified as Kaushik Das and was transported to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital for urgent medical attention. Upon receiving the report, Bishalgarh police also reached both the accident site and the hospital to initiate further investigation.
