Agartala, 25th June 2026: Officials of Debdaru Outpost under Baikhara Police Station arrested three individuals during routine market patrolling today.
Police sources informed that around 9:20 am, the team led by OC Bakuljoy Reang apprehended Karna Tripura, son of Ishawar Chandra Tripura of Birendra Rowaja Para, Bishnupur (under Sabroom PS), at Kowaifung market in Santirbazar. He was found in possession of 40 litres of country-made liquor, and a case has been registered against him under Section 69 of the Tripura Excise Act.
In a separate incident, Krishna Mohan Tripura (26) and Mitra Singh Tripura (50) of Kowaifung village were arrested for engaging in outlaw activities in the market area. Both have been booked under Section 90(2) of the Tripura Police Act.
