Agartala, 22nd September 2025 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tripura today for a short but important programme at the revered Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, Gomati district. His trip will mark the inauguration of the temple’s beautification and development projects.
According to official sources, the Prime Minister will arrive at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport in Agartala around 2:40 PM. From there, he will take a helicopter to Palatana Helipad in Udaipur, reaching by 3 PM, and then proceed by road to the temple.
At the historic Tripura Sundari Temple, PM Modi will offer prayers at both the Tripura Sundari and Shiv Mandir shrines. He will also inaugurate the newly completed beautification and development works. The programme will include devotional kirtan by members of the Jamatia Hoda community, followed by a brief interaction between the Prime Minister and Pradhan Samajpatis, the traditional tribal leaders.
The entire visit is expected to conclude before 4 PM, after which PM Modi will depart.
