Agartala, 3rd April 2026: Ahead of the Dharmanagar Assembly constituency by-election, the voting process for election officials has commenced in Dharmanagar. On Friday, election personnel cast their votes at the hall of Bir Bikram Institution.
Security department staff and other election workers responsible for the by-election participated in the voting process. Returning Officer Debjani Chowdhury stated that a total of 159 voters will exercise their franchise through ballot boxes.
According to administration sources, the voting will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 3 and 4. All the election officials performed their duties with enthusiasm and in a lively atmosphere.
The administration has put in place all necessary measures to ensure the by-election is conducted smoothly, freely, and peacefully.
