Due to PM Modi India has entered a new era of progress and welfare: CM Dr Saha

Agartala, June 17: The Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dynamic leadership which led to development and growth experienced by the entire nation and stated that India has entered a new era of progress and welfare.

He addressed a massive rally organized by the BJP at Santirbazar HS School in the South District to commemorate the nine years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He

The Chief Minister emphasized that the nine-year tenure of PM Modi will be recognized as a significant chapter in the country’s history, marking the “pre-Modi era” and the “Modi era.”

He highlighted the notable attention given to the long-neglected Northeast region during this period. The Chief Minister commended the wave of development witnessed in every aspect, including rail, air, and highways, resulting in an unprecedented transformation in the region.

He mentioned the flourishing infrastructure projects that have connected remote areas, enhancing connectivity and creating opportunities for economic growth and social progress. The Chief Minister proudly stated that Tripura, under the leadership of PM Modi, has also witnessed massive development during these nine years.

The Chief Minister further outlined some significant achievements in Tripura attributed to PM Modi’s leadership. He mentioned the financial assistance provided to over 2 lakh farmers through the PM Kisan Yojana, which has increased their yearly income to more than Rs 13,000. Additionally, around 10 lakh farmers have been covered by the PM Fasal Bima Yojana, offering crucial insurance coverage. The Kisan Credit Card scheme has benefited over 3 lakh farmers with loans, and the distribution of more than 13 lakh Ayushman Cards has ensured accessible healthcare for numerous individuals.

He highlighted the government’s focus on empowering women and children, noting the reservation of 33% of government jobs for women, promoting gender equality and inclusivity. The distribution of over 1 lakh bicycles to girl students has facilitated their education and well-being. Furthermore, the Chief Minister mentioned that over 4 lakh families have been connected to the Jal Jeevan Mission, ensuring access to clean water and improving living conditions.

The Chief Minister concluded by stating that PM Modi’s transformative leadership has steered India towards a brighter and more prosperous future. He emphasized that the positive impact of the Modi era will be remembered in history as a time of unprecedented development, welfare, and an inclusive approach to nation-building, benefiting all sections of society.
