Agartala, 1st July 2026: The Commandant of Assam Rifles Radhanagar Battalion called on the senior civil and police administration of Hailakandi and Sribhumi districts as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen civil-military coordination and enhance inter-agency cooperation.
During the interaction, the Commandant met Amitava Sinha, APS, Superintendent of Police, Hailakandi, Jai Vikas, IAS, District Magistrate, Hailakandi, Leena Doley, APS, Superintendent of Police, Sribhumi, and Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi, IAS, District Magistrate, Sribhumi.
The discussions focused on the prevailing security situation, maintenance of peace and public order, border management, and measures to further strengthen coordination between Assam Rifles and the civil administration. Various aspects of information sharing, joint response mechanisms and collaborative efforts towards ensuring safety and security of the local population were also deliberated upon.
The interactions were held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, reaffirming the shared commitment of Assam Rifles and the district administration towards maintaining peace, promoting stability and ensuring the overall well-being of the people.
