Enemies can’t ignore development in Tripura under BJP regime: Mithun Chakraborty

Agartala Jan 11: Sounding on the similar note of “Development”, BJP national executive member, actor-turned-politician claimed that “Even enemy can’t ignore” the development that people of Tripura got to see under BJP-led governance.

Chakraborty made the statement as he addressed a mass gathering in view of BJP’s “Jana Vishwas Yatra” here on Wednesday at Teliamura.

The veteran actor was accompanied by BJP state President Rajib Bhattachejee, State BJP’s General Secretary Amit Rakshit, Secretary Papia Dutta, MLA Kalyani Roy among others.Mithun Chakraborty further said that he joined the saffron party because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he is a “big fan of his” as “he implements what he says”.

“Although I live outside but I am aware of the massive development that has taken place in Tripura in the last five years under the BJP rule. All the BJP-ruled states have witnessed growth because our PM always cares about the welfare of the people”, he said.

“I have travelled across 70 per cent of the globe and very well understand what development is. Even the enemy can’t ignore the development Tripura has witnessed in the last five years. The state is on the path of growth and prosperity,” he said.However, he did not specify who he was referring to as the “enemy”.

Chakraborty said Tripura would be among the best states of the country in the next five years and appealed to people to vote for the BJP to speed up the development pace.
