Agartala, 13th January 2025: A female pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding bike in Sekerkote Bazar this afternoon. The injured woman was identified as Rakhi Debnath. She was initially rescued and brought to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. Due to the severity of her injuries, the doctor on duty referred her to GBP Hospital for further treatment.
The incident took place when a speeding bike bearing registration number TR03L8660 lost control and struck Rakhi Debnath on the side of the road. Eyewitnesses reported that Debnath fell to the ground following the collision. They promptly alerted the Bishalgarh Fire Department, whose staff rushed to the scene and transported the injured woman to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital.
The condition of Rakhi Debnath remains critical, and medical personnel at GBP Hospital are closely monitoring her recovery.
