Agartala, 22nd April 2025: A devastating fire engulfed a house in Chalita Bari under Teliamura police station late last night, allegedly set ablaze by miscreants. The incident has stirred widespread concern and speculation in the locality.
Speaking to the media personnel, homeowner Surajit Choudhury recounted the harrowing ordeal. “Around 1:30 to 2:00 AM, a group of miscreants deliberately poured petrol and set our house on fire,” he said. Choudhury alleged that the attackers intended to burn the residents alive and loot the property.
In a significant revelation, Choudhury claimed to have identified two of the perpetrators. “I will file a formal complaint with the police, providing their names,” he stated. He also mentioned previous instances of hostility, including physical assaults on family members.
