Under the supervision of Ampi Nagar ranger, an initiative has been taken to provide training in dry fish fermentation to SHG teams, as reported.

In an effort to empower women and bolster rural economies, Ampi Nagar forest range officials in Gomati district have embarked on a pioneering project. Spearheaded by the guidance and supervision of Ampi Nagar ranger, the initiative aims to equip SHG beneficiaries with the skills necessary for dry fish fermentation.

Reportedly, under the SCATFORM project, beneficiaries are undergoing training sessions conducted by resource persons to enhance their proficiency in establishing dry fish fermentation projects, particularly in rural areas where there is a significant demand among indigenous communities.

Sources reveal that a comprehensive three-day training program has been successfully conducted at the Ampi Nagar forest range office. The beneficiaries have shown keen interest and enthusiasm towards this innovative venture.
