Details reveal that a passenger auto vehicle, identified by registration number TR 06 3500, collided with a small cargo vehicle bearing the license plate TR 06 A 1942 in the Laltila area. This collision resulted in injuries to a total of four individuals who were occupants of both vehicles.

Eyewitnesses, who were quick to react, promptly alerted the Teliamura Fire Department. Responding to the call, fire department personnel rushed to the scene of the accident.

Shockingly, upon arrival, the fire department personnel faced hostility from a group of intoxicated youths who had gathered at the scene. They allegedly surrounded the rescue vehicle and attempted to assault the responders. Fortunately, with the assistance of concerned citizens, three of the injured were successfully extricated from the wreckage and transported to the Teliamura sub-district hospital. The fourth victim was also rescued by locals and transported to the hospital for immediate medical attention.

The injured parties have been identified as Pranab Das, Tapas Das, and Sujit Das, all residents of the Mohrchhara area. After receiving initial first aid treatment at the Teliamura sub-district hospital, they were subsequently referred to GB Hospital for further medical care. Currently, their conditions are reported to be critical.

According to local authorities, the incident led to a temporary roadblock on the Teliamura Khowai road for approximately 30 minutes during the night. However, police intervention swiftly restored normalcy in the area.

This tragic nighttime collision has sent shockwaves throughout the Laltila area, underscoring the need for heightened road safety awareness. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this accident.
