Agartala, 28th August 2026: The girl hostel authority of Government Degree College, Khumulwng, organized Raksha Bandhan celebrations with dignity and respect. Professors and students joined police personnel at Radhapur Police Station, tying rakhis to officers and sharing festive joy.
Students expressed gratitude for the courage, sacrifice, and service of the police force, turning the occasion into a gesture of solidarity and respect. Prof. Dr. Maharani Rangkhwal highlighted that Raksha Bandhan symbolizes collective responsibility, protection, and humanity, while praising the dedication of police personnel in safeguarding society.
The programme concluded with messages of fraternity, harmony, and respect for those who serve the nation. Distinguished attendees included Officer-in-Charge Krishna Sadhan Jamatia, Sub-Inspector Dilu Jamatia, and others.
