Government Ambulance breakdown disrupts traffic on Kamalpur-Ambassa road

Date:

Agartala, 3rd September 2026 :   A government ambulance broke down in the middle of the busy Kamalpur-Ambassa road in the Kulai area, causing traffic disruption and inconvenience to commuters and vehicle drivers.

The ambulance, bearing registration number TR01G1137, reportedly came to a halt after its front-left tyre was damaged. The vehicle remained stranded on the narrow road for an extended period, obstructing traffic movement. Tree branches were placed near the ambulance as a warning to approaching motorists, but locals said the arrangement was insufficient to prevent congestion.

Commuters and long-distance drivers have faced difficulties due to the partial blockage, while residents fear a major traffic jam if the ambulance is not removed soon.

Local residents have urged the administration and concerned authorities to take immediate steps to remove the stranded vehicle and ensure prompt assistance in similar situations to prevent prolonged traffic disruptions.
