Agartala, 17th November 2026: If we want a corruption-free society, then quality education is essential, and for that, the present state government is stressing the development of the education system by providing quality education.
This was informed by Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath after inaugurating the newly constructed school building of Madhu Chowdhury Para XII School in Mohanpur and virtually inaugurating Tarapur XII School, Gopalnagar XII School, and Berimura XII School in the presence of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.
The inauguration ceremony was organized at the Madhu Chowdhury Para XII School grounds at Mohanpura in Agartala.
“Our state government wants Ek Tripura Shrestha Tripura and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, and to fulfil this, we must bring massive change in the education system. For this, the state and central governments are working together. If you want a corruption-free society, then quality education is essential. In the classroom, the future of the nation is decided,” said the Power Minister.
He said that present students will lead the nation tomorrow.“Students must go further. Our government is working to provide education to students so that they can stand on their own feet. Students must be self-reliant. Under the present government, massive changes can be seen in the education system. Before 2018, there were 9 pre-primary schools, and now there are 180. Twelve Vidyajyoti schools were set up after 2018. Vocational courses have started in 478 schools. Super 30 has been started. Before 2018, there were 111 English-medium schools, and now there are 422,” he said.
The Power Minister informed that the present government has also started several initiatives in the health department.
“Nine super-speciality services have been started at GB Pant Hospital, a government dental college has been established, and many private medical college hospitals are coming up. Our government believes in Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and without tribal development, real development is not possible,” he added.
