Governor Calls for Building a Stronger India

Agartala, 15th August 2026: Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu extended Independence Day greetings to the people of the state and called for collective efforts to build a stronger and developed India.

On Saturday morning, the Governor paid homage to national leaders and martyrs at the Gandhi statue at Circuit House, the Gandhi Vedika at Gandhighat and Albert Ekka Park.

Speaking to the media, Nallu said India is one of the world’s strongest democracies and has the largest young population. He called upon the younger generation and citizens to contribute towards taking the country forward on the path of development.

Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath and other dignitaries were present at the programme. A cultural programme was also organised.
