Agartala: August 12. Union Minister of State for Information Technology and Skill Development Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that the central government is giving special importance to the development of North Eastern region of India including Tripura.
Addressing a press conference at Kalyanpur, the union minister of state said, “The central government is giving special importance to the development of North Eastern region of India including Tripura. The benefits of central and state government’s development programs are being reaching to the last person of the region”.
Addressing the press conference, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given priority to the overall development of North Eastern states including Tripura. The people of Tripura have also benefited from various central and state government schemes since the present government of the state came to power in 2018.
“The entire economy has been affected by the corona epidemic in the last two and a half years. But with the efforts of the Prime Minister of our country and by the combined efforts of the Central Government and the State Government have been able to deal with the Corona epidemic. During this time, the central government gave free food to 80 crore people of the country. The central government is working to strengthen the country’s economy. Central Government’s aim is to build a developed India”, he said.
He further said that the people of Tripura’s Kalyanpur area have also benefited from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Grameen, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana and PM Kisan schemes. He said that the present union ministers are regularly visiting various remote areas of the country. “The goal of the central government is the development of all. The central government is also working to improve the quality of life of the citizens of each region”, he said.
