Govt taking steps to enhance the quality of service at MBB airport: Sushanta

Agartala, 12th October 2023:  Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury today said that various policies were taken by the department regarding Autorickshaw regulation which are being implemented at Agartala Airport to solve various problems of air passengers and ensure orderly movement of vehicles.

The Minister said this while distribution of uniforms to prepaid auto rickshaw drivers” who provide services to passengers at the airport at the MBB Airport in the capital Agartala, organized by the Transport Department of Tripura Government.

“As we know, a uniform of any color always motivates a man to take responsibility for his work in the workplace, irrespective of the profession he is associated with.  Uniforms serve to identify someone and symbolize certain values. A professional uniform, associated with any profession in the workplace, serves as a reminder to the public of the service deliverance principle with respect”, he said.

Sushanta said, “Various Policies taken by Transport Department regarding Autorickshaw regulation are being implemented at Agartala Airport to solve various problems of air passengers and ensure orderly movement of vehicles. As a part of this, uniforms are distributed among the autorickshaw drivers today. Various initiatives have been taken by our transport department to enhance the quality of service for the in-state and out-of-state passengers arriving at Agartala’s MBB Airport”.
