Following the recent state elections, the helmet force, known for its previous activities during the former CM’s tenure, had seemingly quieted down.
However, the resurgence of this group post the BJP’s victory has once again put the city on edge. The latest victim of the helmet force’s rampage is Biswajit Banik, a Congress worker whose shop was targeted in the brazen attack. The CCTV camera footage from the store captured the ruthless actions of the helmeted miscreants as they vandalized and looted Banik’s shop, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
Not only did the assailants loot the establishment, but they also subjected Biswajit Banik to physical assault, adding a distressing dimension to the incident. The assault on a political worker’s property has sparked outrage in the area, with residents expressing concern over the deteriorating law and order situation.
