Agartala, 21st March 2026:   A Chandrapur resident has turned to the media persons with a desperate appeal to Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha after police failed to act on his missing wife case for over three months.

His wife vanished from their home on December 15. Although he filed a missing person’s report at the East Agartala Women’s Police Station the following day, he claims to have received no assistance. Suspecting a neighbor’s son, he further alleged that police have not interrogated the suspect properly.

Now caring for their 12-year-old child alone, the anguished husband urged the administration for immediate intervention and requested anyone who has seen his wife to contact 7630807901.
