Agartala, 25th February 2024 : The University will mark two decades of excellence, celebrating 20 years of dedication to academic and professional education in Tripura. The University is embarking on an ambitious journey, pushing the boundaries of its infrastructure to unveil cutting-edge facilities. The University is celebrating its annual techno-cultural program ICARIA-2K24 from 21st February, 2024.
Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, Pratima Bhoumik was the Chief Guest for Day-3 program on 24th February. At the beginning, the welcome address given by Prof.(Dr.) Biplab Halder, Vice Chancellor of the University and explained about the contribution of this University for developing educational excellence in Tripura since last 20 years.
Pratima Bhoumik stated that the ICFAI University Tripura is a “Mini India” as it is providing 57 different programmes in various disciplines, having highly qualified faculty members and students are from various states of India including North-east. She explained about various developmental statistical examples of education & employment opportunities at present Tripura with the help of Modi Government. She becomes happy to note that the ICFAI students are getting good jobs due to their acquired knowledge & skills and quoted “ICFAI is the most talented education hub at Tripura”. She also informed that Deloitte, IBM, Microsoft, CISCO, Flipkart etc. multinational companies will come soon for creating employment opportunities in Tripura. She witnessed some of the colorful cultural programs.
After her address vote of thanks delivered by Dr. A Ranganath, Registrar of the University and he expressed his heartiest thanks to all concerns for successful completion of the ICARIA-2K24 program. The program ended with Celebrity DJ performed by Progressive Brothers followed by the Fashion Show.
