Illegal infiltration of 5 Bangladeshis at Belonia; Police arrests all

Agartala, May 20, 2023: Five Bangladeshi nationals were arrested by the Belonia police station staff at around 10 o’clock on Friday night. It is learned that on the basis of secret information, the police raided Tamal Mallik’s house under Belonia police station and arrested five Bangladeshis. For a long time, Tamal Malik has been involved in smuggling in two countries.

As on other days, on Tuesdays, Bangladeshis also store various items in their homes for smuggling. Five Bangladeshi youths climbed over the barbed wire fence to Tamal Mallick’s house to take these hoarded items to Bangladesh. Police rushed to Tamal Mallick’s house after receiving the information.

During the search, five Bangladeshi youths including a large amount of cloth and oil were recovered. The arrested are Azad Hossain, Abdul Anwal, Saheb Uddin, Zahidul Islam, Sajeeb. According to the police, each of them lives in Parashuram area of Bangladesh. The five Bangladeshi arrested youths were sent to the Belonia court by the police on Saturday morning after receiving a case against them under Section 370/212/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Now let’s see what comes out of the police interrogation. Meanwhile, the accused house owner Tamal Mallik fled from the spot. Now let’s see what action the police take against Tamal Mallick who is involved in illegal activities. According to sources, Tamal Mallik has been doing such illegal activities by managing police station for a long time. As a result no action is taken against Tamal Mallick. People are angry with this role of the police.
