Agartala, 8th August 2025: Turning healthcare into a heartfelt community mission, ILS Hospitals Agartala brought its team of top specialists and advanced diagnostic services to the very heart of Kailashahar, hosting a free mega health camp at the iconic Unakoti Kalashetra. The day-long programme wasn’t just about medical check-ups, it was about strengthening bonds of trust and care with the people.
The event was inaugurated by Tinku Roy, Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education and Labour, Government of Tripura in the presence of Chapala Rani Debroy, Chairperson of Kailashahar Municipal Council. Lauding the effort, Roy called it “a shining example of how healthcare institutions can be the bridge between medical expertise and the common man’s needs.”
From Urology to Cardiology, General Medicine to Ophthalmology, the camp covered it all backed by free blood sugar checks, BP monitoring, ECG, and ECHO. The specialist line-up included Dr. Rahul M Sharma (Senior Urologist), Dr. Nilanjan Majumder (Senior Cardiologist), Dr. Dipankar Paul and Dr. Riyash Debbarma (Medicine Specialists), with seamless coordination by Amit Bhattacharjee, North Tripura Coordinator (ILS Hospitals).
The turnout was overwhelming with more than 100 patients, some travelling from distant villages receiving consultations many had never accessed before. For the people, it meant answers, hope, and reassurance; for ILS Hospitals, it meant living up to its mission of delivering quality healthcare with empathy, wherever it’s needed most.
