Inauguration of ‘Heartland Tripura’ Project Marks Milestone for Talent Development in the State

Agartala, October 19: The ‘Heartland Tripura’ project, a transformative initiative, was officially inaugurated in Tripura on Thursday. The inauguration ceremony, hosted at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan, celebrated the collaborative efforts of Deloitte India and NIELIT Agartala in bringing this visionary project to fruition. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Union Minister of State, Pratima Bhowmik, who addressed the gathering with great enthusiasm.

Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik acknowledged the exceptional talent that resides within the state’s young population, highlighting their immense potential. For years, the aspirations of harnessing this remarkable talent had been a long-cherished dream for Tripura. Now, with the collaborative efforts of Deloitte India and NIELIT Agartala, the foundation to realize this dream has been laid.

During her address, Union State Minister Pratima Bhowmik described the occasion as a historic moment. Deloitte, a venerable company with a 175-year legacy, operating in 145 countries, is now extending its presence to Tripura. This development is expected to open doors for the state’s youth to work internationally and bring honor to Tripura within India.

Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik expressed optimism about the prospects for the state’s youth to secure their futures and provide for their families. Furthermore, he announced plans for the expansion of Deloitte’s operations in other North Eastern states, following their successful establishment in Tripura.

Exciting opportunities await the state’s young talent, with more than 350 youths from Tripura set to be employed by the company by next June. Their salaries are expected to reach an impressive six lakh rupees per year.

The inauguration event also witnessed the participation of Union Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, Electronics, and Technology, Rajeev Chandra Shekhar, along with Minister Santana Chakma and several other dignitaries, marking this momentous occasion with unity and enthusiasm
