IPFT intensifies campaign ahead of ADC polls in 22-Kathalia–Rajapur–Mirza constituency

Agartala, 22nd February 2026:   With the upcoming Autonomous District Council (ADC) elections drawing closer, the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) has stepped up its campaign activities in the 22 Kathalia–Rajapur–Mirza constituency. The party organized a promotional program aimed at strengthening its organizational base and expanding public outreach, keeping the demand for “Tipraland” at the forefront.

As part of the initiative, IPFT workers and supporters placed party flags across marketplaces and busy localities in the constituency. Party leaders claimed that the widespread flag display has injected fresh momentum into their election campaign. The program also sought to re-engage long-time members and reinforce organizational ties.

Senior leaders present at the event included IPFT Central Committee Vice President Rajendra Reang, Youth IPFT Advisory Committee Chairman Manik Tripura, Youth IPFT Central Committee Vice President Bipul Debbarma, BAC BSC Vice Chairman Ravi Kumar Debbarma, IPFT Shantir Bazar Divisional Committee President Jyotilal Reang, and Mahon Book RD Block Vice Chairman Nirab Mani Debbarma, among others.

As election day approaches, political activity in the hill areas has visibly intensified. IPFT leaders reiterated their commitment to safeguarding the interests of Tipraland and asserted that the party remains determined to preserve its political identity. According to party sources, the enthusiastic participation of workers and supporters ensured that today’s program generated significant response across the constituency.
