Agartala, 1st July 2025:  A group of job aspirants vying for the post of Special Executive under the Tripura Police staged a protest on Monday, demanding immediate publication of the long-pending merit list and completion of the recruitment process. The protestors later submitted a deputation to the Director General of Police, pressing their demands.

According to the aspirants, a recruitment notice was issued in 2022 for 6,062 Special Executive posts. While the physical and written tests were conducted shortly after the notification, the final results remain unpublished nearly three years later.

“There has been no movement in the process—no updates, no transparency. It’s like the recruitment has been forgotten,” alleged one of the protestors.

The aspirants called on the state government to expedite the declaration of results and ensure fair recruitment. They also appealed to Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha to intervene and address the issue with urgency.
