Agartala, 12th March 2025:  Aspirants for Fire Service and Police Constable positions staged a protest today, demanding the immediate completion of the recruitment process by publishing the pending results. The protestors held a rally in front of Umakanta Academy and submitted a deputation to the Home Department, urging swift action.

“We have been waiting for almost three years since the recruitment notice for 329 posts in the Tripura Fire Service was issued in 2022. Despite completing the physical and written tests shortly after, the results are yet to be published,” said one of the protestors.

The demonstrators expressed frustration over the prolonged delay, alleging that there has been no progress in the recruitment process for the past three years. “We demand that the results be published immediately. If our demands are not met, we will be forced to escalate our movement,” warned another protestor.

The group also appealed to Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha to address the issue with urgency. “We request the Chief Minister to take this matter seriously and ensure the recruitment process is completed without further delay,” they added.

The protestors have vowed to intensify their agitation if their demands continue to be ignored.
