Land dispute: Mother, son injured in rod attack

Agartala, 30th March 2025 :   A violent altercation over a land-related issue left a mother and son injured late last night at Shan Tilla area under Kamalasagar assembly constituency.

Nepal Datta reportedly engaged in a heated argument with his neighbor Liton Pal, which escalated when Pal struck Datta on the head with a rod.

Responding to her son’s cries, Datta’s mother intervened but was also injured in the attack.

The victims filed a complaint at Sonamura Police Station demanding justice and urging the state Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha to ensure a fair trial.
