By TC News Desk

Agartala: May 28. Residents of Bhagawan Nagar 7th Ward staged a road blockade of the Kailashahar-Dharmannagar main road. On this day, they joined in the road blockade to demand drinking water and electricity. Speaking one issue, the protestors said there is a shortage of drinking water in the area. The main reason is that there is no electricity in the area for four days. Besides, the national highway work is going on in the area for five long months.

So on this day they were forced to block the road. Even after informing Sai Computer Limited, the private power company of Kailashahar, nothing has been done. So on this day, the people of the area were forced to participate in the road blockade. Many vehicles were stuck on both sides of the road as a result of the road blockade. The police of Kailasahar police station rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident.

Later, the road blockade was lifted with the intervention of the police. According to them, if the problem is not resolved quickly by the administration, they will join the movement again as they can’t suffer like this. Especially due to power problems, services are being disrupted even in local hospitals. So they demanded to solve the problem quickly.
