Agartala, 23rd March 2026: Panic gripped Kamalpur city yesterday as a mad female dog went on a rampage, biting and injuring 13 people across different parts of the city. Most of the victims are women and elderly residents.
The incident reportedly began in the evening when the dog was spotted moving through various neighborhoods. Pedestrians have since become hesitant to venture outside, fearing further attacks.
All the victims have been admitted to Bimal Singh Hospital, where they are receiving medical attention. Authorities have urged residents to stay indoors while local animal control teams attempt to capture the snake.
City officials are also cautioning people to remain alert and report any sightings immediately. The unusual incident has left residents shocked and concerned for their safety.
