Agartala, 12th October 2023: District & Session Judge, Unakoti, Kailashahar has convicted and sentenced one person to suffer Rigorous Imprisonment for life for killing his wife.
As per details today the Ld. District & Session Judge, Unakoti, Kailashahar has convicted and sentenced one accused person namely Rakel Munda(40) of Bhuiyapara under Kailashahar Police Station in connection sentenced to suffer Rigorous Imprisonment for life for the commission of offence punishable U/S 302 IPC.
“The fact of the case is that on 19/06/2022 at night accused Rakel Munda(40) murdered his wife namely Moni Munda(35) with a wooden plank over domestic issues in their home”, said police.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Investigating Officer SI Mrinal Paul of Kailashahar PS(now posted as O/C, M.G Bazar TOP under East Agartala Police Station) thoroughly investigated the case and submitted charge sheet which subsequently ended in conviction.
