Mayor chairs review meeting on PMAY

Agartala: May 31. A meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Mayor Dipak Majumder at the conference hall of Agartala Municipal Corporation today morning. The gathering was graced by the esteemed presence of Deputy Mayor Monika Das Dutta and a host of other dedicated corporators.

The central focus of the meeting on this momentous day revolved around the remarkable achievement of providing more than 1, 30,000 houses to the deserving citizens of our state through the esteemed Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

In addition to celebrating this significant milestone, the attendees fervently inquired about the progress made in the completion of the houses that were previously allocated through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Mayor Dipak Majumder passionately emphasized the need for accountability and prompt action in this regard, ensuring that all citizens receive their rightful abodes within the designated timeframe.

Furthermore, the visionary leader, Mayor proposed an insightful discussion on embracing a Quad-based program, along with renewing our commitment to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), in commemoration of the upcoming World Environment Day. This forward-thinking initiative aimed to harness the collective efforts of the community, foster environmental consciousness, and enhance the overall aesthetics of our beloved city.
