Mock election training at Dharmanagar Girls’ HS School ahead of Lok Sabha polls

Agartala, 26th March 2024 :  In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Dharmanagar Girls Higher Secondary School has initiated a two-day mock election training program. Organized by the Sub-Divisional Administration, the training aims to ensure careful execution of various activities as directed by the Election Commission.

The first day of the training, held on Tuesday, focused on instructing presiding officers and facilitating fast polling. A total of 279 presiding officers and 229 first polling officers, totaling 508 individuals received training. The training was divided into theoretical sessions conducted in six rooms and Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) practical sessions in the remaining six rooms.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Shyamjoy Jamatia stated that the training would continue on March 27, with sessions covering second polling, third polling, and group D training. The training camp is being closely supervised to ensure effectiveness and adherence to guidelines.
