MoS Pratima  emphasizes inclusive development for India by 2047

Agartala, 10th December 2023:  Union Minister of State, Pratima Bhoumik, stated today that India will not become a developed nation by 2047 unless people from all parts of the country are developed and self-reliant.

She mentioned, “At the same time, the country’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has initiated a nationwide Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. This campaign aims to bring all the people of the country who have not yet been able to avail various government facilities under those facilities.”

Bhoumik made these remarks while participating in the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Proti Ghare Sushasan 2.0 in Melagher today.The program was organized under the initiative of the Melaghar Municipal Council. The journey of the IEC van, a vehicle promoting various government projects, started from the local Jagannath Bari ground. After the puja, the van was ceremonially launched with the breaking of coconuts.

A colorful procession featuring vans from Jagannath Bari circumnavigated Melaghar Bazar and concluded at Melaghar Kalibari Ground. The procession included tableaus on various government projects, women empowerment, Swachh Bharat, etc.

The Union Minister of State and other guests participated in the procession. A field-level administrative camp was organized at Kalibari field, attended by Pratima Bhowmik, MLA Bindu Debnath, Additional District Magistrate of Sipahijala district Jayant Dey, Senior DC Bhaswar Bhattacharya, Sonamura Sub-Divisional Magistrate Maniklal Das, Melaghar Municipal Council Chairperson Anamika Ghosh Pala Roy, and others during the inaugural session of the camp. Various services were provided to common people by various departments at the camp.

On the same day, the mobile awareness van of the developed Bharat Sankalp Yatra started its journey in the Kumarghat block area of Unakoti district.

When the van reached Dakshin Unakoti ADC village in the Kumarghat block area this morning, it was welcomed by numerous men and women. The spontaneous enthusiasm of the people was palpable, with many blowing conch shells. Moreover, a pledge to consider India a developed and strong state by 2047 was read. BD and Dr. Sudip Bhowmik of Kumarghat stated that the campaign van will visit 25 gram panchayats and 9 ADC villages in the block area.

In addition, this Sankalp Yatra took place at Jamirchhara ADC Village in Manu Block of Dhalai District.
