Agartala, December 10, 2023: In a lively celebration of cultural amalgamation and scenic beauty, Sourav “Dada” Ganguly, the beloved figure in Indian cricket, is all set to captivate the landscapes of Tripura in his new role as the Brand Ambassador for Tripura Tourism. Ganguly, the former Captain of the Indian Cricket Team, is poised to promote Tripura Tourism on both national and international stages.
Ganguly is slated to visit Tripura on December 11, 2023, for a two-day promotional campaign, spotlighting the diverse and picturesque attractions the state has to offer. The itinerary encompasses visits to key tourist destinations, participation in promotional events, and interactions with local authorities, as highlighted by Tripura’s Tourism minister, Sushanta Chowdhury, during a press conference at Geetanjali Tourism Guest House in Agartala city on Sunday afternoon.
The visit commences on December 11, with Ganguly’s arrival at MBB Airport, Agartala, at 06:00 PM. The day’s agenda features a visit to the iconic Ujjayanta Palace, where an exchange of agreements and a press meet are scheduled between 06:30 PM and 07:20 PM. Subsequently, Ganguly is set to have a courtesy meeting with the Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha, at 07:30 PM.
On December 12, the campaign gains momentum as Ganguly departs for Chabimura in Gomati district at 06:00 AM. The morning is dedicated to shooting at Chabimura, a picturesque location renowned for its breathtaking landscapes. The tentative shooting schedule is from 08:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Post that, Ganguly will head back to Agartala at 11:45 AM.
Upon his return to Agartala at 02:00 PM, Ganguly is set to enjoy lunch before participating in more promotional activities, including shooting at Ujjayanta Palace. The whirlwind tour concludes with his departure for Kolkata at 07:55 PM.
This collaboration between Sourav Ganguly and Tripura Tourism is expected to significantly enhance the visibility of the state’s tourism offerings, drawing the attention of both domestic and international travelers.
