Agartala, November 21, 2022: The ‘One Night, One Mandal’ programme, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This program is to find out the extent to which the facilities of various central projects in the state are reaching the common people or what are the complaints of the common people? As part of this programme, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik is visiting various mandals and talking to common people.
On Monday, she first participated in a public meeting at Dr BR Ambedkar School ground in Pratapgarh. Addressing the gathering, MoS Bhoumik said, “The previous communist government, which calls itself the government of the hard-working people has increased the allowance by Rs 400. Rs 300 from the centre and Rs 400 by the state government in the state in 25 years of their tenure. Even then, there was a threat of cutting the allowance if he did not go to the procession. However, the allowance has been increased by Rs 1,300 in the last four and half years in the state.”
She said that 13 lakh Ayushman cards have been given in Tripura state irrespective of any political colour and caste.From there, she participated in the organizational meeting with all the public representatives, mandal members and functionaries of ward number 40, 42, 43. MLA Rebati Mohan Das was also present.On Monday, she visited Pratapgarh as part of the “One Night, One Mandal” programme.
