Mother pleads for help to find missing son

Agartala, 25th January 2024 :  A 45-year-old man, Tapas Shukla Das, has been missing from his home at East Chanmari area near GBP Hospital for nine months. His mother, who filed a missing diary at the GB police outpost on May 8, 2020, has appealed to the government and the public to help her find her son.

She said that Tapas left home on May 8 and did not return. She contacted his relatives and friends, but none of them knew his whereabouts. She also said that Tapas was suffering from depression and needed medical attention. She broke down in tears as she narrated her ordeal.

The police said that they have been searching for Tapas since the complaint was lodged, but have not found any clue or lead. They urged anyone who has any information about Tapas to contact them. They also assured the mother that they will do their best to trace her son.
