Agartala, 25th January 2024 : The Bir Bikram Memorial College in Agartala celebrated the 110th birth anniversary of Adwaita Mallabarman, a renowned writer, journalist and social reformer, on Thursday. The minister of education, Sudhangshu Das, was the chief guest of the function and garlanded the portrait of Adwaita Mallabarman.
The minister praised the contributions of Adwaita Mallabarman to the literature and society of Tripura and said that the state government has planned to organize various programs in different districts and colleges to commemorate his legacy.
He said that the aim of these programs is to inspire the new generation to learn from his sacrifice and follow his ideals. The students and staff of the college participated in the function and expressed their respect for Adwaita Mallabarman.
