Hospital staff immediately alerted the fire and emergency services upon noticing the blaze, which was quickly contained by responding firefighters.
According to reports, the fire was initially believed to have been caused by a short circuit, though investigations are ongoing. Smoke enveloped the CT scan room, but the damage was minimal due to the swift action taken by the fire brigade.
