Agartala, 9th March 2025: Union Health Minister JP Nadda visited the Tripura Sundari Maa temple in Udaipur today, where he offered prayers and sought the blessings of the deity for the welfare of the nation. His visit was part of an official tour to review the progress of development initiatives at the revered temple.
During his visit, the Union Health Minister inspected the ongoing development work undertaken under the PRASAD (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive) project, aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and facilities of the temple for devotees. He was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharya, MP Dr. Sambit Patra, MLA Abhishek Debroy, MLA Jitendra Majumdar, former Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik, and senior officials from the state administration.
Upon their arrival at the temple, Minister JP Nadda and Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha were warmly welcomed by the District Magistrate of Gomati district, Tarit Kanti Chakma. The officials provided an overview of the development projects aimed at preserving the temple’s heritage while modernizing its infrastructure.
