Agartala, 18th September 2024: In a heartfelt tribute during Biswakarma Puja, Niljyoti Travels honored the memory of Chiranjit Dey, a courageous transport worker who sacrificed his life to save flood-affected residents in Indranagar. Chiranjit, a professional driver, displayed extraordinary bravery by transporting people to safety amidst rising floodwaters, ultimately losing his life in the process.
The organization led by Sanjib Acharjee, paid deep respects to Chiranjit’s elderly parents at the Niljyoti Travels worship premises. Recognizing the responsibilities Chiranjit would have fulfilled towards his parents, the company provided them with new clothes for the puja and extended financial support. Acharya expressed his commitment to continue supporting Chiranjit’s parents in the future, ensuring they are not left alone in their time of need.
