North Tripura volunteer attends PM’s Viksit Vibrant Village Youth Dialogue

Date:

Agartala, 26th July 2026: Selected My Bharat volunteers from North Tripura district participated in the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme Youth Dialogue addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday.

The North Tripura district administration expressed pride in Nabanita Nath, who was selected as one of the participants in the programme. As part of the initiative, she took part in a rural immersion programme in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, gaining first-hand exposure to life in one of India’s border regions.

The programme, envisioned by the Prime Minister, aims to strengthen the concept of border villages as the country’s “first villages” rather than its last. It also seeks to help young participants understand the challenges faced by security personnel and residents living in remote frontier areas while fostering a deeper sense of national integration and service.

District officials said the participation of a volunteer from North Tripura reflects the district’s growing contribution to youth-led nation-building initiatives.
