NSS unit holds special health camp and blood donation drive at Sakhi Charan Vidya Niketan

Agartala, 19th November  2024 :  A special health camp, including a blood donation drive, was organized on Tuesday by the NSS unit at Sakhi Charan Vidya Niketan in Agartala. This initiative aimed to set an example of social service and was inaugurated by Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumdar in presence of Corporator Ratna Datta, social workers and other dignitaries.

Mayor Majumdar, who inaugurated the blood donation camp praised the NSS unit’s efforts. “Blood donation plays a special role in social service. One’s life can be saved through blood donation. Therefore, conducting this blood donation program is commendable,” he stated. He also expressed his gratitude to the health workers and other associates for their involvement.

The initiative was highly appreciated by all attendees, including the dignitaries present, who lauded Sakhi Charan Vidya Niketan’s commitment to social causes. The event highlighted the importance of community involvement and the impact of such initiatives in promoting public health and welfare.
