Agartala, May 06, 2023: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Tripura Asset holds ‘Walkathon’ – Human Chain with the motto of ‘Energy Conservation Towards Net Zero’ from April 24 to May 08 on Saturday.
Addressing the event, ONGC-Tripura Asset Maintenance Chief General Manager PB Das said that the main theme of ‘Saksham 2023’ is ‘Save Oil – Save Gas’.
“A large amount of oil and gas is wasted. India produces only 18 percent of its essential oil and gas needs. The rest has to be purchased. Initiatives have been taken to reduce dollar exchange in this regard. At the same time, this initiative has been taken to reduce the consumption of gas and oil and convey the message of proper use”, he added.
This awareness program has been organized to keep the future beautiful. On Saturday, they participated in the human chain program in front of the main gate of ONGC with the slogan ‘Save Oil – Save Gas’.
